“This website was created to increase awareness for pediatric heart conditions. More than 40 thousand babies each year are born in the United States with a congenital heart defect. It's Claudia's mission to have a site that provides resources for parents who have children with heart defects, connects them to events and support groups across Kentuckiana, as well as ways to get involved in fundraising opportunities. Strong For Kids Clinic
Jack was excited to wear his pads, jersey and drag out the Uof L football for the 2nd annual Coach Strong Football Clinic. Coach Strong and the UL Football team put on a clinic for kids with heart conditions and those in the oncology unit at Kosair Children's Hospital. Love how he is giving back !
Go Red For Women!
The Go Red for Women Luncheon is always one of the biggest events of the spring and this one was no different . The ladies of WHAS 11 looked lovely in red to support the 10th annual cause. The luncheon combines food, fun, fashion and a serious message. The event raises awareness about heart disease being the number one killer of women and ways to take charge of your heart health!
