Coach Strong Holds Braveheart Camp

Thank you Coach Charlie Strong for holding a football clinic for children like Jack who  have heart conditions. The Braveheart Camp was held March 3, 2012 at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. More than one hundred children who have heart conditions and are members of a support group through Kosair called "Bravehearts" participated in drills and a real game with U of L Football Players.

Crystal Heart Gala!

More than a 100K raised at the 20th Anniversary of the American Heart Association's Crystal Heart Ball. Claudia served as the emcee of the event on February 25, 2012. The Crystal Heart Ball raises money for the American Heart Association, which funds education, advocacy and scientific research to fight heart disease and stroke. The gala has a special emphasis on childhood heart conditions.

Kentuckiana Heart Walk Launches Fundraising Efforts

We are Jack (age 5) and Olivia (age 4 1/2), and we are the American Heart Association’s 2012 Heart King and Queen. Both of us are heart survivors. The American Heart Association has helped fund research advancements that helped to save our lives. Thank you for supporting the Kentuckiana Heart Walk. We hope to see you on September 22. It’s never too early to start fundraising. Every dollar raised can help save a life like ours.
